Tye McWhorter joined Polunsky Beitel Green, LLP in 2019 as an Associate Attorney. He advises mortgage lenders on legal and regulatory compliance issues relating to real property law. With a background in post-closing and mortgage foreclosures, Mr. McWhorter also has experience with protecting lenders’ interest in collateral.
Prior to joining the firm, he most recently served as an associate attorney at a local law firm where he litigated Texas home equity foreclosures. His experience also includes working at the Small Business Administration and assisting victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Mr. McWhorter received his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a member of the Real Estate Law Association and completed an internship with G6 Hospitality, LLC as part of the Corporate Counsel Program.
